reCAPTCHA is designed to verify whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a human or by an automated programme. Mailchimp
MailChimp is a service that can be used, amongst other things, to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. your email address), this data is stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA.
MailChimp is certified under the ‘EU-US Privacy Shield’. The ‘Privacy Shield’ is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA designed to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
We use MailChimp to analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent via MailChimp, a file contained within the email (known as a web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter has been opened and, where applicable, which links have been clicked. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be linked to the individual newsletter recipient. It is used solely for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses may be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of the recipients. Photographs and video recordings
1. At events organised by EurA AG, photographs, audio recordings and video recordings may be made and published in various online and offline media. These recordings will feature images of people present at the event, with individuals being selected at random. The images will be published on the organiser’s website, in print media and on social media channels. This also applies to events organised in cooperation with third parties.
2. By entering the event venues, participants consent to the publication, free of charge, in the manner described above, and to the distribution and/or storage for an unlimited period of time and making available of the recorded image, audio and video material as part of the organiser’s public relations work. Personal rights shall be safeguarded in all cases.
3. Should a participant, in individual cases, not consent to the publication of their image, we ask that they notify the event organisers immediately.
